How To Be Saved: The Gospel Of Jesus Christ
This is the most important question any person can ask:
How can I be saved?
Not how can I become more religious.
Not how can I look righteous in front of people.
Not how can I balance out my good works against my bad works.
The question is: how can a guilty sinner be saved before The Holy God (YHWH)?
The Bible gives the answer clearly. Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. A person is saved the moment they believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Every person has sinned. Every person has fallen short of the glory of God. This means mankind’s problem is not merely ignorance, weakness, or bad habits. The real problem is sin.
Sin separates man from God. Sin brings guilt. Sin brings judgment. Sin brings death.
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
The wages of sin is death. A wage is something earned. The Bible says that because of sin, death is what mankind has earned. But the verse does not end there. It says the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. That is the important part that you really should look into, and we will right now.
That means eternal life is not a wage. It is not something earned by good works. It is not a reward for religious effort. It is a gift.
So...

Jesus Christ is not just a teacher, prophet, or moral example. He is the Christ, the Son of God, God manifest in the flesh, the Saviour of the world.
John 20:31
But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
The Gospel is centred on who Jesus is and what He did. He is the Christ and that matters. He is the Son of God and that also matters. Eternal Life is found through believing on Him alone for salvation.
John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:14
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth.
Jesus Christ came into the world. He took on flesh. He lived without sin. He came to save sinners. That is you and me. Everyone has sinned remember. At least once but realistically much more.
What Did Jesus Christ Do?
Jesus Christ died for our sins. His blood was shed for the remission of sins. He was buried. He rose again from the dead.
1 Corinthians 15:1-4
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
That is the Gospel.
Christ died for our sins.
He was buried.
He rose again the third day.
And whoever believes on him shall not perish but have everlasting life...
This is not about trusting yourself. This is not about trusting your works. This is not about trusting your ability to change your life. This is about Christ and what He has already done.
Romans 5:8-9
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Christ died for you. His blood was shed. Salvation is through Him and there is no other way..
Matthew 26:28
For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
The blood of Jesus Christ was shed for the remission of sins. That means sin has been dealt with by Christ, not by our own religious performance or works at all.

The Word of God gives the answer clearly.
Acts 16:30-31
And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
The answer was not: turn from all your sins and maybe you will be saved.
The answer was not: join a church and maybe you will be saved.
The answer was not: endure faithfully enough and maybe you will be saved.
The answer was:
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.
To be saved, you must believe on Christ.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

The one who believes in Him.
John 3:36
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life:
The Bible says the believer hath everlasting life. Not might have. Not could have. Not will have if they perform well enough. The believer HAS, as in RIGHT NOW... EVERLASTING LIFE!
Let that settle in.

Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Salvation is by grace through faith. It is not of yourselves. It is the gift of God. It is not of works.
That destroys boasting.
If salvation depended on your works, you could boast. If salvation depended on your performance, you could boast. If salvation depended on your ability to keep yourself saved, you could boast.
But salvation is not of works.
It is by grace.
It is through faith.
It is the gift of God.
Romans 4:5
But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
This verse is incredibly clear.
It says “to him that worketh not.”
That means the person is not being justified by works. Instead, the person believes on Him (Jesus Christ) that justifieth the ungodly.
His faith is counted for righteousness.
That is salvation by faith apart from works.

John 5:24
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
This verse shows the security of the believer.
The believer:
Hath everlasting life.
Shall not come into condemnation.
Is passed from death unto life.
That is not temporary life. That is not probationary life. That is everlasting life.
Jesus Christ did not say the believer might pass from death unto life later if they do enough. He said the believer is passed from death unto life.

When a person believes on Jesus Christ, they are sealed with the Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 1:13-14
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation:
in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
The order is clear.
They heard the word of truth.
They trusted Christ.
They believed.
They were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.

Ephesians 4:30
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
A believer can grieve the Holy Spirit, but the verse still says they are sealed unto the day of redemption.
That is security in Christ.

Jesus gives eternal life to the believer.
John 10:28-29
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
Jesus said His sheep shall never perish.
Not maybe perish.
Not perish if they fail.
Not perish if they are weak.
Never perish.
The believer is in the hand of Christ and in the Father’s hand. That is not fragile salvation. That is eternal security.

Good works matter in certain regards, but they are not the basis of salvation.
A saved person should grow. A saved person should learn. A saved person should walk in truth. A saved person should be fruitful. But works are not what save a person, and works are not what keep a person saved.
Titus 3:5
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us,
Salvation is not by works of righteousness which we have done. It is according to His mercy.
Romans 11:6
And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace.
Grace and works cannot be mixed as the basis of salvation. If salvation is by grace, then it is no more of works.

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.
Believe on Him, and you have everlasting life.
Acts 10:43
To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
John 6:47
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
That is the promise of Christ.
He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
Not he that works enough.
Not he that proves enough.
Not he that never struggles.
Not he that perfectly performs.
He that believeth on me hath everlasting life is what Christ said!

Every person has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
The wages of sin is death.
But God (YAH) loved the world and gave His only begotten Son.
Jesus Christ came into the world. He died for our sins. His blood was shed for the remission of sins. He was buried. He rose again the third day.
The Gospel is not about what you must achieve for God.
It is about what Christ has already done.
The question is:
Do you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ?
If you believe on Him, you have everlasting life.
Acts 16:31
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.
If you read this far, I want you to know that I love and care about your soul, that is why I work so hard to get the truth to you in various forms, but by far, this is the most important truth that anyone can ever know.
Feel free to share far and wide.
YAH BLESS YOU!
